Yeah! A lot of time polishing things that may move (break in another way :D ?) with the next update!
I lost a lot of time during the EA of Kitty's Last Adventure with things that got heavily changed in the end :(.

Not even talking about profit, a $50k game split between five people after two years isn’t much.

Still, I’m surprised how tiny the middle revenue range actually is!

Maybe part of the answer is how the Steam algorithm works, once a game starts gaining traction, it keeps it?

As an indie dev, I’m surprised how few stories we hear about games that made some money, not hits, but not failures either.

Turns out, there aren’t that many stories to tell. For the games that made >500$:
• 50% stayed low
• 25% earned mid-level revenue
• 25% did "well"
