A blockade is technically an act of war. Much like a sneak attack on a naval base.
#Impeach47 is a bully.
The blockade of Venezuela is a disgusting echo of U.S. imperialism in Latin America. We were lied to about Iraq and WMDs, and an entire generation paid the price.

Here we are again.

We cannot let a wannabe dictator drag us into another forever war.

Trump orders oil tankers blockade in Venezuela, labels Maduro regime a "terrorist" group
The escalation exerts unprecedented pressure on the Maduro regime, threatening to bankrupt Venezuela's already struggling economy.

Beginning to think the president might be, y’know, deranged.

I for one have not sat down with a journalist but if that journalist was recording our conversation I think I would expect them to publish everything. EVERYTHING!!! Verbatim!
Okay I would expect them to write a story but not to twist my words.
WHO AMONG US hasn't sat down 11 times with a journalist and a tape recorder only to be shocked that they'd publish stuff we talked about?

Dear Micheal,

You’re a U.S. Congressman. Shame on you. This is a horribly dangerous, dishonest, & divisive thing to say. You’re lying. You’re inciting hatred & violence. Delete this tweet & apologize for it.

Sincerely,

A Former U.S. Congressman

This Michael Tracey, in my opinion, is off his nut. I’m sure Australians had no illusions that they couldn’t get rid of all the guns nor abolish “all” mass shooting. However, wouldn’t we be happier with 684 deaths compared to 5,500! Unintended consequences: deaths from firearm violence drops too.

End MAGA!
Their closing message to Indiana: change your maps to artificially benefit the President's political party or 'roads will not be paved' as punishment.

Yep, you’ll need a warrant.
The N Carolina immigrant rights group Siembra is teaching business owners their rights if federal agents show up at their door.

While most can name their first and second amendment rights, far fewer are familiar with the fourth, which prohibits unreasonable government searches and seizures.

@katmabu.bsky.social it is worse than that; it drops us into the ranks of “Shithole” countries like Russia, China, North Korea, Miramar…places we don’t like and don’t want to go.
Requiring foreign visitors to hand over 5 years of social media isn’t “security,” it’s unchecked government control.

All-seeing surveillance systems don’t make us safer. They are in direct opposition to our civil liberties.
