Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Just a reminder. Denmark has been an ally of the United States for 225 years. Proportionally, the Danish military suffered more casualties than any other NATO ally in support of our War On Terror in Afghanistan after 9/11. They are an ally who deserves our respect and ongoing gratitude.

NATO governments should be sending a co-ordinated message that a U.S. invasion of Greenland will have real consequences, such as the loss of access to military bases in Canada and Europe. Perhaps this will wake up the US Congress.
