No Kings Santa Rosa. Easily the largest protest in the history of Sonoma County. A 1.3 mile route that that went on for over 2 hours. We like freedom and democracy with our Pinot and Chardonnay.

No Kings Santa Rosa. Much larger than the first one. A 1.5 mile route that went on for over 2 hours. People were still walking into the park when we were leaving. Easily the biggest protest in the history of Sonoma County.

It’s exploitation of the most socially vulnerable cohort, young white males. Alienation, loneliness, dashed expectations, lack of opportunities, a heavy dose of entitlement and video games. It’s really similar to opioids. A lot of self medicating and corporations are exploiting that. No surprise.

I will be participating in No Kings Day next Saturday. I’ve never meet George Soros, will not be paid to be there, will not be breaking any laws, and have never met or collaborated with Antifa unless you count my father and uncle who fought fascism during WWII.

Got it. The Samaria Gorge follows a stream that starts in the White Mountains. Not much water when I hiked it.12 miles to the sea with the first part a 2 mile switch back descent to the floor of the gorge. The Iron Gate was 9 ft wide. It was a great hike capped by a cold beer and plunge into the sea

I finally found their headquarters and then was forced to go thru their initiation which included 3 quick shots of mezcal followed by a rendition of Bella Caio while standing on one leg. After 2 attempts I finally passed and now have my “ I Got Buzzed at Antifa” tee shirt to prove it.

What part of the Gorge? I hiked from the top to the sea in 2018. Great experience. During the German WWII occupation of Crete, the gorge hid undercover allied units who were able to send radio messages from their hideaway. Germany knew this was happening, but they were unable to prevent it.

I was seven when my dad took our family to see Psycho. Hitchcock, the Vertigo guy he said. You’d think he would have learned after taking my sister and a bunch of 11 year olds to see Carry On Nurse. None of us were scarred for life, but neither one of my sisters would take a shower for two weeks.
