Now at an age where I’m no longer relevant and I’m enjoying my elevated status immensely.

Hey Pam Bondi. This is John Mitchell. Gird your loins because you actually work for the people and not the president and you will eventually find out what that means.

With all that’s currently happening in the NBA, sports gambling sites are still advertising on TV during the World Series, with the announcers talking about what constitutes a good bet. Just another sad example of the sleazy way corporate America separates the gullible from their money.

No Kings Santa Rosa. Much larger than the first one. A 1.5 mile route that went on for over 2 hours. People were still walking into the park when we were leaving. Easily the biggest protest in the history of Sonoma County.

I will be participating in No Kings Day next Saturday. I’ve never meet George Soros, will not be paid to be there, will not be breaking any laws, and have never met or collaborated with Antifa unless you count my father and uncle who fought fascism during WWII.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee, which organizes the prize, gave Maria Corina Machado the prize “for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.”

In other words, Dante’s 10th Circle of Hell which technically speaking is a combination of the first 9.

250,000 Americans died in Europe in WWII fighting fascism. Now media companies, universities, law firms, corps, republican politicians, and sadly people who are just indifferent, are willfully inviting it into this country. This is the greatest betrayal of their legacy I’ve witnessed in my lifetime.

Social media at its worst. Speculation, guessing, making tenuous assumptions, going down deep rabbit holes, and click baiting over the Kirk murder. Now at this point I’m skeptical of anything LE says. I’m also skeptical of bloggers flogging their posts. Sadly trusted sources are in short supply.

John Burton was a titan of California politics. With unmatched passion and authenticity, he fought for the most vulnerable people in our state — and he always put up one hell of a fight. Doug and I send our prayers to his daughter, grandchildren, and all those who have been impacted by his work.

I’ve just published a book where I retrace my father’s footsteps during the Battle of the Colmar Pocket in Alsace. I’ve hesitated to put it on Amazon for all the obvious reasons so I’m going direct to the reader. If you’d like a copy please let me know. The printing and shipping costs are $ 25.
