Really pleased with finding a Yellow browed Warbler this morning, calling in the NE boundary fence at Whillet’s.Unfortunately as soon as I’d located which small tree it was in it flew to larger trees called several times then vanished.

Quick Look late afternoon, had a Peregrine which flew towards the dam.
Flock of 25 Redwings north,2 Meadow Pipits SE.
On the water 22 Teal,12 Mandarins,5 Wigeon,Shoveler,2 Little Grebes,2 Little Egrets and 2 Kingfishers.

Stunning male Hen Harrier hunting over the fields this morning,at least one Glossy Ibis noted.
4 or 5 Marsh Harriers over the marsh with several Buzzards and Kestrels.3 Great Egrets and stacks of Little Egret.
Flyby of hundreds of Golden Plovers and Pink footed Geese,2 Green Sands too.

Another slow day c250 pink footed Geese,28 Redwings,3 Swallows,c100 Skylarks,10 Stonechats,4 Pintail,2 Com Scoter,Goldcrest,Yellowhammer,loads of Tree Sparrows and a Rock Pipit.

Arrived late afternoon 52 Pink-footed geese & 3 Whooper Swans south,Corn Bunting,some Tree Sparrows,Pintail,Snipe,3 Stonechat,2 House Martins,5 Swallows,3 Yellowhammers,2 Chiffchaffs to be fair probably saw more Butterflies and dragonflies then birds.

Lovely close view of a female Goshawk late afternoon,Shovelers Teal & Tufties.
At the Reed bed 6 Reed bunting,2 Chiffchaffs and 6 Mistle flew north.

Hardly any water but managed to find a Dunlin,5 Teal & Little Egret.

20 House Martins,5 Siskins,Mistle Thrush,5 Greenfinches,1 Bullfinch,2 Raven,Sparrowhawk,8 Grey Wagtails,2 Common Sandpipers,Goldcrest,5 Teal,8 Mandarins,Little Grebe,40 Great crested grebes and some Ivy Bees.🐝
Lovely afternoon walk at the Gravetye Estate highlights were 4 Spotted Flycatchers,Marsh Tit,Sparrowhawk,10 Little Grebes,18 Tufties,Painted Lady and loads of House Martins and Swallows moving east.

At 16:40 I spotted this Juvenile Honey Buzzard coming in low from the north being mobbed by corvids, it eventually made its way off ESE on its way to Africa.

On a drizzly afternoon 2 Ospreys,24+ Mandarins,11 Teal,Little Grebe,Common Sandpiper,Kingfisher and 4 Sand Martins.
Some good birds there👍Pretty quiet at present down at Weir Wood Res, Just Com and Green Sands recently.

3 Ruff,Green Sandpiper,5 Snipe,Whinchat,2 Wheatears,5 Spotted Flycatchers,Whitethroats,4 Stonechats,30+ Meadow Pipits,Several Yellow Wagtails,2 Kestrel,Sparrowhawk,5 Sand Martins and loads of Chiffchaffs still.
Talking to a neighbour in the front garden this afternoon and a Hobby shoots over our house.
Little distant water in newly dug areas,but not much there.
North brooks had water with 200+ Teal,80 Lapwings and hundreds of Geese etc.

This morning’s highlights included 4 Hobbies,Female Marsh Harrier,3 Ruff,Green Sandpiper,2 Pintail,Grey Wagtail,Firecrest,2 Redstarts,3 Spotted Flycatchers,Lesser Whitethroat and Clouded Yellow butterfly.
Ivy just coming into flower in the garden, Ivy Bees have arrived.
