You don’t appreciate professionalism until you’re working around people without it. Coworkers making inappropriate jokes and cursing around customers will never not make my skin crawl.

Um, it's because we're all scared of the damn tariffs.

It's not like any of us can actually afford shit right now, but the alternative is to *never afford shit again.*

So people are buying their durable goods NOW.

I love my homelab. One machine acting as a linux host running 18 docker containers + 58TB of NAS while simultaneously virtualizing two Windows 11 environments-- one of which is running FFXIV at max settings, 5120x2880 @ 60fps.

Was looking to snag some of these MG series Toshiba drives over the weekend but It doesn’t seem like any are going on sale. Well on sale from sellers I trust lol. Im building a zfs array of 16tb drives and I like a few new ones but it seems these wont be in it.

stop trying to tell me about Linux! I have gone 38 years without learning anything other than there's a sickly penguin and a red hat! Normal people do not experience Linux! For shame!

Oh you have a computer problem? Have you gone into the forest about it? Touched the worn and oddly warm stone altar about it? Descended the moss-blanketed stairs into the dark below about it?

Then fuck off back to windows, buddy. You're not spiritually ready for HengeOS.

`apt moo` is a fun little Easter egg hidden within the apt package manager in Debian-based Linux distros like Ubuntu. The origin of the cow theme in apt is unclear, but it likely relates to the cultural significance of cows in FLOSS. Also see our APT guide www.cyberciti.biz/faq/ubuntu-l...

It probably wouldn’t bandwidth limit my Intel arc A770 while transcoding over a PCIE 4.0x8 right? I may have gotten a few too many pcie devices lol. Guess Im lucky my mobo has 3 x8 PCIE lanes at least.

Sad to see. My yoga slim 7x has been an absolutely astounding laptop. Compared to the intel and amd alternatives Ive handled this year Its just a superior overall experience. Shame windows messed up the launch so bad.

Gotta find a decent in game performance monitor for ARM. Everything I’ve used on WOA so far is pretty dicey.
