The @svelte.dev and other dev communities seem really active on bsky, but not everybody is here yet.

Who else do we need to convince to be on here?

If I want to make a @svelte.dev app a desktop app, what would you recommend?

I'm considering Wails wails.io/docs/guides/...

svelte.nativescript.org seems more geared toward mobile.

Man I can iterate so fast iterate with my fullstack project using tailscale.com/kb/1242/tail...

Don't need to constantly redeploy, don't need a reverse proxy, I can just set a path

{me}.ts.net/{proj}/api/ (backend)
{me}.ts.net/{proj}/ui/ (frontend)

And I can access it from anywhere on my tailnet

🙇 Let's make AI write Svelte even better! File an issue for tasks where LLMs are struggling to help us fix them!
The svelte bench 2.0 is coming along, we already ported the old benchmark tests (thanks @khromov.se) but now we need to fill it up with a bunch of difficult svelte tasks and we need YOUR HELP!

Go to github.com/sveltejs/ai/... and open an issue with ideas on tests that we can add (or open a PR)!
Build software better, together
GitHub is where people build software. More than 150 million people use GitHub to discover, fork, and contribute to over 420 million projects.

Claude keeps starting svelte/vite dev server for no reason, even on unrelated bash commands like 'find'

Let's see if I can block that by adding a hook

We released a Svelte Skill! It will teach your agent to use the svelte CLI to invoke the same tools as the MCP! We also released a subagent so that docs and iterations with the autofixer don't take up precious context!

And you can get all of that easily because the repo is now a Marketplace! 🧡

for these situations, i think:
- the person who prompts it should be charged with a crime
- the company who owns it must be regulated to put reasonable prompt rejection to prevent someone from trying
- there are companies whose entire business model is this; they should be fined and jailed to hell
So we just accept this then? This is a legitimate use of technology going forward? This vile individual's account is just prompt after prompt asking Al to alter real-life images of women. The law needs to catch up with technology now - because we can't trust these tech companies to police themselves

Hi fellow Svelters!

I just concluded an investigation to know whether it's possible to use the experimental Node SEA feature with SvelteKit, and I'm thrilled to announce that the answer is yes!

You can read all about it there:

Based on turnout (24), feedback, and the fact that most stayed till the end (despite us going over time) I dare to conclude that yesterday‘s Svelte Berlin Meetup was quite a success.

We owe large chunks of that to @dominikg.dev who provided us with lots of time for Q&A and post-meetup chats 🙏
