plexamp drives me nuts with this too. it's a feature I actually enjoy for playlists, but albums doing it by default is mind-bogglingly bad. The other day I was listening to an album that already has carefully mixed track transitions and it just made every song start a measure too early
new iOS update is sleek and also defaults in Music to “you must want songs transition as they would on a dance floor.” so many people will wonder why they can’t just listen to an album. Apps > Music > Song Transitions > toggle off.

pluribus is really fun. but it does have the misfortune of airing alongside the chair company, which is a format parody as laser-accurate and mean as 'how to write an alt-j song' or 'ooh i love my wife'
