As was her right. Supporting legitimate policy positions is not the same as supporting insurrection, fraud, and corruption. I never agreed with her policy positions, but she sacrificed her career in defense of democratic ideals.

The Democratic endorsement of Mamdani was hardly unqualified. I recognize that mayoral races are outside the DNC’s ambit, but I see the problem not as endorsing all Dems, but more as reserving endorsement for those that fit the current DNC mold, rather than listening to the constituents.
