Super proud of Neta Hart for being awarded the travel grant by The Science Bank and for delivering an excellent talk at the Notch Signaling Meeting about her pioneering work on newly identified mode of early #oogenesis in #zebrafish and human, regulated by Notch (more to come!).

eartbreaking to see a dry system..

While this is a major crisis, we are rebuilding, and use this as an opportunity to expand.

Thanks to incredible institutional support at HebrewU School of Medicine, and amazing resilience of our lab members, we will bounce back fast and stronger!

I can now share that during the recent Israel-Iran conflict, our main #zebrafish husbandry facility collapsed abruptly, resulting in the loss of ~85% of our fish.

With careful management, we were able to preserve all lines, and are currently operating from backup systems.

Was a pleasure to give the @embo.org talk in #EMBO #meiosis meeting today, and share our findings about the Zygotene #cilium: novel mechanisms, conserved functions and links to human #reproduction disfunction.

Thanks to the organizers for the invite and for a fantastic meeting.

In his famous statement Galileo said “and yet, it moves” - today I say “and yet, we scientists move forward!”

Every day, with every experiment we are able to conduct, with every excitement of new result, with every talk we have to deliver from a sheltered room like I am doing now, we show to ourselves and to the world that

Israeli scientists today and in the past two years have continued, despite everything that’s happening around, to pursue their passion for science, to experience the joy of science. To seek truth and

I’d like to say that I am grateful for the foundation Singer-Polignac for enabling a remote talk. The foundation nobly aims to advance arts and science, the two flagships of the human spirit. So I’m grateful not only for the opportunity to share our own findings,
