We call Brampton a suburb, but it's the 9th biggest municipality in Canada. It's a proper city (in Canadian terms). That's the weird intricacy of Toronto geography, it's all just cities morphed into urban sprawl, but for the most part it's not stereotypical American suburbs.

Basically: it's a city that's just outside of Toronto. There's a certain type of person (the Brampton Man) that has absorbed the multicultural-ness of the slang and is basically the Canadian version of a roadman. A Brampton Man can be any race or gender, and is generally a dickhead.
