We passed £1300 just now! Thank you ❤️

I've thought it over and decided I'm going ahead with booking the initial video consultation with the surgeon (see latest GFM update for details).

There's still a long journey ahead but I have the chance to take an extra couple steps now so I'm going for it ❤️

Hey y'all, here's how to make BlueSky require alt text on your images so you don't forget, and also enable the option to show larger alt text buttons on images if needed.

Alt text is an accessibility tool to describe visual media to blind and low vision people. You should always use it. 💜

I'm already breaking the no reposts thing because the artist in me is having a little tantrum.

They've redesigned the GFM page so now not only is my silly meme header image obscured, but today they've also changed the font.

I'm already crowdfunding change, change is scary, I don't need more! 🥺

I've got my own crowdfunder going but God I'd want someone to have a word with me if I didn't recognise the privileged position I've been in to bypass or speed up some of the stuff many other trans people deal with for extended periods.

I still make sure to pay it forward as much as possible.

My own family couldn't even name me at all on my birthday cards last month, a year after coming out to them.

But yes the article makes a very good counterpoint. What IF the whole thing is a wee bit awkward for them? My bad, I should have thought of that.

Mini sapphic shopping date yesterday in Glasgow and of course we had to walk along the giant pride flag pavement.

It has magical properties that rejuvenates any queers who walk over it. The council continues to be unable to find an explanation.
