Now I haven't drawn a comic in literal YEARS because I'm afraid I'll make it wrong when I use to shit them out effortlessly as a kid.

In middle school and high school, I made comics and showed them to everyone in class. They were obviously not good technically but that wasn't the point. The art I flaunted and enjoyed sharing as a kid would've got me bullied off of tik tok if I were to post it now.

Starting art now is harder because of social media's emphasis on "good" art over the enjoyment of making it in the first place. Growing up, I was never really "frustrated" with my art because I never considered that I as bad at it. Drawing was first and foremost a fun way to express myself.

I just discovered Aphex Twin and their discography! I'm probably really late to the game, I was not aware of their impact on internet meme culture, especially on tik tok. Their music is very beautiful outside of that though.
