HAHAH true he’s always in situations 😭😭 i love that for all the serious stuff in kof there’s plenty of goofy stuff to go around as well! there are plenty of team endings that make me really emotional but sometimes a guy just needs a good laugh 🙏

#KOFtober days 8 and 9!! my first (custom) team is also my current team… poor leona has to 3rd wheel 💔 and for favorite canon endings i have a soft spot for the silly ones, i love how often mr karate (who is definitely not takuma at all) shows up 😭

SAME i personally love the idea of cute girls being just as capable of strength as everyone else, it’s cool to see femininity being shown as strength rather than weakness! plus the designs are awesome… ive considered doing a photocard series with idol fighters for my store it’s such a fun trope!

KPDH IS SO GOOD i’ve got your idol and takedown added to my playlist those songs BANG. one of my favorite shows i’ve ever seen was also idol-ish, if you’re interested hanabie is a ton of fun! the whole culture around it is super interesting which has definitely helped my opinion on athena lol

AGH TYYYY the hand pose took me so long a friend of mine stole my tablet to also try to draw it 😭 i love how it came out though!! i love idol characters in general as something of a casual idol fan myself… fighting game idol is one of my favorite archetypes!

exactly!! perfectionism has made me a very polished artist and a good student in the past but in all honesty, perfection is boring. the way i draw faces (and many other things) is based on some of my own imperfections and it’s really changed my self esteem for the better to show that off!

the way you worded this is so good i hope you know. i get wrapped up in how i want everything i make to look professional and i lose sight of the fact that my style is just weird mistakes i made and went “oh hey that looks cool!” the humanity of art is what makes it great and i gotta remember that 🙏

great point!! i’m a hell of a perfectionist and i’ve been struggling to leave a lot of the koftober stuff as just sketches… it’s been a good exercise in showing some of the more raw parts of being an artist so far though! i’m not perfect and it turns out that’s…. cool??
