Oh wait, it's spooky season!

Why does my dish sponge look like it's going to summon deadites.
A used (not unclean) yellow dish sponge that has been damaged in such a way to have a vague face like appearance much like the necronomicom ex mortis from evil dead.

Every year, I want to enjoy xmas, but I can't because I don't want to hear jingle bells in fucking October!
yuigaron.itch.io
It's October 1st and I just saw my first xmas advert of the year.

I usually just constantly run around in loping circles and do hit and runs at it's ass, throwing the odd firecracker at it to get a few cheap hits in. It works, it's just not elegant.

Oh I hate the bull for exactly that reason. Not a fan of when Fromsoft pulls the whole "You know how we've taught you to play the game? Well about that..." thing.

Just gotta finish Sekiro with the demon bell first before I start something else lol.

I just got the urge to play Dark Souls 2...

If you enjoyed a game on Itch, leave a comment!

Honestly, it really brightens a creator's day. And it's a big encouragement for others who may be interested in getting that game.

Itch hides reviews from the game page, so I find comments more useful in the long run.

Like a game? Comment away!

Oh you're in for a treat. He's done so much of this stuff (following power lines or rivers etc).

Some good pull quotes there.

My lawyer @prismaticwasteland.com has cleared me of any liability for sharing this meme edit I made:
Meme about the game Mausritter. The left panel is labeled "expectation," and depicts two cute mice doing little cozy mousey things. The right panel is labeled "reality" and depicts one traumatized mouse cradling the bleeding corpse of another mouse in their arms, edited from the painting "Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan" by Ilya Repin.

Really make a shotgun blast of that P.

I wanted to get some work done today, but instead it's been one of those pleasant low energy days. Less 'depression and unable to do anything' and much more 'damn this sofa is comfy and my eyes are a bit heavy and this feels nice'.

Hey, we're shelf neighbours.

Tremors is a near perfect movie.

I've seen neither, but The Endless feels familiar (as in someone might have recommended this to me recently actually). I'll have to check them out.

Surprised to learn about a sequel being in the works, though. They do hint at other similar events happening in the past in the movie, so...

I'd love more movies like 2013s Coherence (with, you know, less shitty people in it maybe).

The image is of the remains of a man's brain found in the ruins of Herculaneum which turned to glass when he died during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

"In certain rare instances, the brains of arch-mages can turn to glass when under the direct heat of the breath of crimson wyverns no younger than a millennia. These artifacts can be used to extract the spells ensnared into the folds of the mage's mind, and are often used in the forging of weapons."
An image of the remains of a man's brain found in the ruins of Herculaneum, having died during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. They have turned to a stretch of sharp and jagged dark, mostly black glass.

list 3 things you can talk about for 3 hours with no prep

1. As my mom sadly learned recently, ASoIaF theories and deep lore.
2. Fromsoft. So much Fromsoft shit.
3. (According to my brother) Why I hate trad RPGs.

Nothing useful then 😎.

Two things I researched for most of my academic life, and one thing I adore.

1. Figurative language: how it's processed and why we use it.
2. Learning sciences: the science behind how we actually learn.
3. NOVAverse: the lore of my scifi setting where the sun exploded over the planet Obron.

1. Single season ‘90s TV shows
2. Hamlet through the ages as an avatar for emotional repression and later the healing process of mental health.
3. The secret life of Jack Traven aka Johnny Utah aka John fucking Wick

I remember specifically this was one of the first PSX games we owned, and we had no memory card at the time. We had to start again every day, but we could only get as far as the handshake in Syria before running out of time and having to turn it off.

"Paris in the fall, the last months of the year, at the end of the millennium. The city holds many memories for me, of cafes, of music, of love... and of death."

My god, hearing this quote always pulls me back to a very specific time of my life.
