Tried to get my real ID. I had my license, my SS card and my birth certificate.

I was not allowed to get my real ID because my birth name is different than my married name. Now I have to go dig up a marriage certificate. You know who wouldn’t have to do this? A man.

I hold the condemnation of his atrocious and damaging views, the tragedy of this situation, and the condemnation of gun violence all at once. My heart is also with the children and families impacted by the near simultaneous shooting in Denver. That’s about as articulate as I can be in this moment.

My family has been privileged enough to be overall financially steady despite #Trumpflation but the piece that has killed the most is the significant increase we’ve already seen in our electricity bill. These are hard times, unnecessarily so due to abysmally poor policy decisions.
