Jamais Vu: A cursed bard struggles to uncover the mysteries surrounding their crusade. Can Yunessa survive the mysteries surrounding the 5th crusade and themselves or will they find a fate worse than death?

Yunessa, bard by trade. A cursed, but friendly elf hiding the weight of their burdens from the world.

Yunessa standing in a graveyard looking deep in thought as it rains heavily in Kenabres/Drezen. As the Knight Commander/ Companion notice them they offer Yunessa the lyre the Bard forgot.

'Ah, my lyre' Yunessa says to the KC/Companion. 'I knew I'd left it behind. I didn't know it'd bring you here, sorry. Keep staying out of the rain. I need to be in the rain and feel this.'

Yunessa looks to their magicked bracelet that keeps them safe from the curse, their expression twisted with anxiety. 'We've talked about my curse and the problems that come from it. But even with the memories gone, the feelings remain. The lack of memories is just... normal. But I still feel. I feel and that's the worst part. I see things that trigger a memory and I feel.'

Yunessa describes their curse, how the memories are gone, but the heart still remembers and how much it weighs them down behind their stereotypical cheery, quippy Bard persona.

Behind the first panel are the images of roses, garlic, and cake slices as Yunessa describes their curse to the KC/Companion. 'I hate roses, do you know that? I can't tell you why. I just do. I love foods with garlic. I don't like that buttered cake icing. But I like that little ah- that bar that looks like condensed chocolate.'

Distraught Yuness puts a hand over their eyes as the other shakes. "Normally I can hide it. But this night out of all the others... I want to mourn. I want to cry and I just... who was i? Who did I love so deeply to mourn even when their memory is gone?'

As they finish describing the burden of a lack of memory but still having the emotions without context, Yunessa looks back to the KC/Companion and offers a smile. 'This crusade we're on- it almost feels like it's a home. But somehow the word home just made me want to sob when the thought came to me.'

Yunessa rakes a hand through their rain soaked hair before reaching a hand out towards their lyre. "Are you cold? Come on, let's head back.... home. Let's go home together."

I think it's acceptable. Anytime someone reblogs something I made I've commented - and I meet wonderful people and communities as a result. I also think people that love the art don't expect to be noticed on a reblog. Personality I'm delighted if senpai notices me.

Also, an AO3 tip: if you're browsing your fav ship's tag, once you've chosen the things you want to filter out and hit "Sort and Filter", you can then bookmark the resulting page and use that to browse the ship tag in the future without having to filter those unwanted things out every single time 🎉
