i appreciate your opinion, but I don't agree. The process to access basic programs like section 8 was and is a labyrinthine nightmare. we lagged behind most developed nations in general and yes, now it's worse.

They're only purity tests when you are ok with dismissing them.

Nobody calls the general requirement (among politicians) to support israel a purity test and that's far less important than human rights.

Folks demanding political / ideological purity fail to see that this is no longer a movement belonging to the left / liberals. This is an opposition against fascism. By definition it must be big tent. Failure to grasp this: see divided oppositions in Eastern Europe as your failed examples.

Bernie. Warren was my second choice and I was fine with everyone except Biden and Bloomberg.

Biden because credible, otherwise partisan people like Cory Booker and Julian Castro were already calling out his mental capacity back in 2020. Bloomberg because he's Mike Bloomberg.
