When the monopoly right granted by copyright is compounded by the speed and scale of media company mergers, we end up with a crisis in creativity. www.eff.org/deeplinks/2...
Copyright Should Not Enable Monopoly
There’s a crisis of creativity in mainstream American culture. We have fewer and fewer studios and record labels and fewer and fewer platforms online that serve independent artists and creators.

Finally, a bank (is EQ a bank?) that supports passkeys. 🤩
Manulife also supports passkeys, but not synced passkeys.
Yes, synced passkeys are potentially worse than device-bound, but I think I am qualified to determine my own threat model thank you very much.

Comcast is now available in Canada 🤮
They sent the original email to an email address that I don't publish anywhere and haven't created any account with. (my reply is from a different, generic email address)

I haven't noticed the Canada Post strike much, yet. I probably will when some overseas parcels reach Canada. I much prefer Canada Post for last-mile delivery though, for a very simple reason: They're the only deliveryservice with a key to every apartment building.
