Deck I'm bringing to Yugioh Genesys Format. Is Neo Daedalus sub-optimal? Oh absolutely... but it's not about being consistent. It's about sending a message.

Read the Alt Text if you're curious.

Umi Control, Water Stun, or as I call this version, Ocean Dragon Lords, is a control-based strategy that revolves around "Ocean Dragon Lord - Kairyu-Shin" and "Umi" (or in this case, "A Legendary Ocean"). Getting both out on the field results in your opponent only being able to control 1 type of monster at a time unless it's WATER type.

Important Cards:
A Legendary Ocean (Is literally treated as "Umi" even in deck building. Reduces your WATER monster levels by 1 in hand and on field which lets you normal summon MOST of your key monsters)
Ocean Dragon Lord - Kairyu-Shin (Main Floodgate w/ Umi on the field)
Electric Jellyfish (Omni-Negate w/ Umi on the field)
Sea Stealth Attack (Trap Card that protects cards and has a battle trick)

Warrior of Atlantis (Searches Umi)
Terraforming 33pts (Searches Umi)
Seventh Tachyon (Searches Kairyu-Shin)
Fish Sonar (Can be a starter but mainly your best extender)
Rage of Kairyu-Shin (Monster Removal)

Stealth Kragen (Back-Up floodgate if you can't get to Kairyu-Shin. DO NOT USE THIS AT THE SAME TIME AS Kairyu-Shin!!!)
Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo Daedalus (If the game goes on long enough, this classic boss monster can create an instant "Slow Game State" which can win you those grindy games in most circumstances)

Overall, a very fun list to try! And this is coming from an Ancient Gear main.
