In the span of a hour, they stealth edited the article from trans woman to "biological male who identifies as a woman." The BBC isn't fit for purpose.
It looks like that BBC page has been updated in the last few minutes, so that's no longer the last sentence. I think part of it has been moved to this paragraph in the middle of the article, and the age is no longer mentioned:

There's a part of my brain that is saying rather than find ways to save my account with a certain retailer I should just let myself be blacklisted, take a break from the hobby and spend the money next year on a foreign holiday.

I do find it morbidly funny the same kids RTD brought into Doctor Who now hate his work and call out how badly he runs production of the show, both tenures.
I don't want it to be where things are but it beats fanbases who put creators on pedestals and ignore humanitarian issues.

There are plenty of legitimate complaints against the BBC, but them now utterly refusing to maintain criticism of Trump is why the drama a few weeks ago was whipped up. In our lifetime any criticism of the far right is being destroyed and millions are falling for the scam.
