(It's very hard to write fiction when you're living in hell.)
I remember Bush 2 never having seen a conveyor belt in a grocery store. Voting for someone who's never even bought groceries to make decisions for you? And yet, here we are with ppl hungry.
The irony of the super rich who have never gone a day w/o food making decisions about SNAP. I think you shouldn't even be allowed to work in politics unless you've survived on 60 grand a year (or less) at least once in your life.
This is so true that sometimes when someone says cousin, I say, your cousin or blood-cousin but only when absolutely necessary story wise.
Let me introduce you to my Black (play) cousins.
I used to love how my daughter's little friend Neha, down the street, would call me "Uncle Jeff" when the girls were little.
Oh, sorry, missed your call/text/email. I'm just disassociating for the foreseeable future. Talk later?

Yesterday I was talking about how Mamdani would be on his rise to presidency were it 15 years earlier before this genie box of white supremacy were reopened. This guy has the juice we haven't seen a democrat have since Obama. But it's 2025 and I'm just hoping he has good security.
Across the city, more than 164,000 New Yorkers flocked to the polls this weekend for the first two days of early voting, according to the Board of Election, a staggering turnout that nearly matches the entire early voting count in 2021.
First Weekend of Early Voting Shatters Record, as Mamdani Rallies Thousands in Queens
Turnout was massive across all five boroughs, with voters telling THE CITY that they were motivated to vote for — and against — the Democratic nominee.

Yesterday I remembered that Huey P Newton was murdered in 1989.
1989.

These are screenshots from the ACTUAL WHITE HOUSE PAGE on the timeline of the East Wing. You may not believe what you re seeing. Go and check for yourself. This...I don't even know what to say about this.
And the same ppl idolize the rich like they're gods. Capitalism really is brain rot.
People in America really, really, really hate poor people. And it's infuriating.
Under-babied. Ok. So contraception is next, I guess. Over-babied allows all these women in charge to remember their place: delivering babies.
Dr Oz: "Turns out that about 1/3 families don't have the number of babies they desire. They're under-babied. So this president committed to address that during the campaign and he's delivering on that today."

I assert that anyone who willfully chooses to spend hours upon hours for weeks, months, years writing alone...is probably not mentally stable. For evidence, I submit myself.
When I was younger, I thought one day maybe I'll go to a bar all the time and the bartender will know my order. Never happened. But today the pharmacist looked at me and said, we got your order, hold on. Not the way I imagined this moment at all.
A zoom meeting where you're introduced but your name is mispronounced and it's not easy to interrupt and this is why I hate zoom meetings. And people.
Wondering if the No Kings March was the Pussy March w/o hats.
Either way, I know Trump won't sleep well tonight. His ego will keep him up.
The problem with movements in America is, this was just a few hours. In other countries everyone stays out until the change happens.
This is what democracy looks like. #NoKings
Let's get in formation for No Kings March.

A friend in Corvallis, Oregon sent me this one 🤣 #NoKings
I marched until my nervous system needed regulating reminding me that I can physically fight for this country but will also need to curl up in a ball and be mute afterwards. Like every revolutionary?
