When I was younger I was told to never draw fan art for your portfolio, and all I can say yo that is - absolutely not. No AD cares of you draw fan art, just the skill.

Every person saying they are against AI - Thinking they are getting away with using AI painted over as their covers / they "drew" them.
Just because no artist has called you doesn't mean we can't tell. We 100% can, and you will eventually get it back to you.
