Just staggered by the complete moral void of not even *pretending* to wait for more information before pivoting to “the opponent of the state deserved it.” It is so insanely depraved. Soulless.

I moved to Libro.fm also, and love it. Good books, much more helpful reviews, and not evil. Price per credit is on par with Audible (iirc), and their sale/member discount books are much cheaper. Many good finds there. Also, the Audible app keeps getting worse. Good riddance to Audible.

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

The whole Third Term Project isn’t actually about Trump. The people behind it know he will likely be dead or enfeebled by 2029. It is about them, the vastly unpopular group around Trump, wanting to grift us forever without elections.

Any American medium that fails to cover the largest protests in American history is failing in the basic mission of informing the public about the facts.

It is at least *interesting* that the people making this supposedly world-changing technology think its most profitable use cases are: social media videos and sexting.

i could write a tome about how fucking embarrassing it is for journalism that someone as morally bankrupt as bari weiss has ascended to the highest levels of money and power by tickling trump's balls but instead i'm going to keep covering the people hurt most by his terror and giving them a voice.

This week the GOP took away healthcare and food from vets, disabled Americans, pregnant women and children while cheering on a 78 year-old sex predator while he berates an ally and sides with a dictator. Ain’t far right ‘Christianity’ grand folks?
