Apart from the composition I think there will be some changes, at least for the characters.

The setting is a misty forest with birch trees. We see a female rider on a red horse, in a Mongolian steppe inspired outfit, holding her gloved hand out for a falcon-like bird to settle on. Next to her is a little frog character riding a chicken, who's similarly having a sparrow fly to him. In the distance, another rider with a hunting falcon.

Vampire Queen, painted in CSP using the DAUB Pigmento Brushes back in September '21. I remember I was reeling from the first COVID vaccine for some of it, but it's a fairly straightforward painting from a Jessica Truscott reference photo, very close to the reference.

Here's another VoD themed portrait. I've been enjoying painting in this slightly more painterly style for a while now. I started to feel that focusing too much on details was starting to tire me out. Maybe it was a bit of perfectionism on my part.
