No alt text, so: this is an announcement for Swamp Thing 1989 #1-4 by Rick Veitch, Michael Zulli, Vince Locke, Tom Mandrake, & Trish Mulvihill, under DC's Black Label imprint

They're finally printing the canceled story arc in which Swamp Thing goes back in time and meets Jesus

Well dang, this is mind-blowing

And my high ass literally thought this was made out of cardboard for about 6 loops and they were just shoving a camera in there. I kept trying to figure out how they weren't bending the little finger things.

People have said we're crazy for making a game like this, but we love it.

Ever level of Shroom and Gloom is created with 1000s of layers of illustrations. Don't think folks understand how fun it is to building a world this way!

Yesterday I receved a bubble envelope of broken glass, today I receved a box of rubble. But 'tis a GOOD thing this time, as this is the Wrack and Ruin set from Eureka Films, featuring 5 of the so-called "Rubble Films" produced in post-war Germany. This collection sounds amazing, I had to get it!
Front cover of Wrack and Ruin: The Rubble Film at Defa form Eureka Films. Image depicts a middle aged man wearing a hat, shown in profile above the sillhouette of a ruined city.

Films included:
The Murderers Are Among Us
Somewhere in Berlin
Police Raid
Marriage in the Shadows
The Blum Affair Open side of the slipbox, showing two keepcases, a book and a folded poster inside Back of the box, describing what the set is about, listing the films, and information about the restorations of each film and all the extras. Yeeeeah I'm not typing all that out, I'm sure an image to text thingy could easily grab it for ya from the picture.

Wise words from Rod Serling, ahead of their time, just as relevant today.
Rod Serling stands to the side of a mirror, in which we can see a semi-profile reflection of him. He is speaking directly to the viewer.

"A sickness known as hate; not a virus, not a microbe, not a germ - but a sickness nonetheless, highly contagious, deadly in its effects. Don't look for it in The Twilight Zone - look for it in a mirror. Look for it before the light goes out altogether."

New arrival: The Old Dark House on 4K from Eureka Films as part of their Masters of Cinema line. I love this movie so much! #TheOldDarkHouse
Front of the slipcover for The Old Dark House 4K from Eureka Entertainment. On the left is the house in silhouette, with the movie title below it in large old school horror movie lettering. On the right is half of Boris Karloff's bearded face, looking quite menacing indeed. Back cover describing the movie and extras. There are 4 screenshots fomr the film down the right side.

Was literally just out having a smoke thinking about how nice it would be to live in Ireland. Then this pops up in my feed. Looking better and better! Motherland, here I come!
mikeachim.bsky.social
Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:
www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employmen...
Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."

I did! 'Tis very pretty tonight. AWOOOO!

Then if you're curious about how I died for the first time playing the remake, me being an old Dead space veteran, well wonder no more! It was every bit as stupid a way to die as you're probably thinking... youtu.be/wFX1Hyn7KLs #DeadSpace #DeadSpaceRemake

Well then. I better be careful because I talk about Dead Space a lot. I mean, it has "dead" right there in the title! We're doomed.

Um...I'm pretty sure that's very much NOT what "Ilsa: She-Wolf of the SS" is about, Prime.
Amazon Prime poster and description for Ilsa: She-Wolf of the SS. Description reads: Mystery drama starring Robert Dubac. A devastated man investigating his father's untimely death learns he had just won a large sum at poker; could he have been murdered for his winnings? He soon finds himself in danger as he delves deeper.

Just arrived: Batman '89: Echoes, the follow-up to the superb Batman '89 mini-series from a couple years ago. Continuing the "what if the Burtonverse had continued" theme, we have fresh takes on Robin, Batgirl, Scarecrow and Harley Quinn. And yep, more Batman Returns Catwoman, for us Selina fans!
Fron cover for Batman '89: Echoes, depicting Batman looming over a large castle-like house, with the Scarecrow brandishing a scythe in the foreground.

Names along the bottom:
Sam Hamm, Joe Quinones, Leonardo Ito Back cover of Batman '89: Echoes. Vertical triptych of Batman, and very badass looking fresh takes on Robin and Batgirl. Below that we see Harley Quinne both in an out of full costume and makeup, and Scarecrow in and out of costume. The Scarecrow costume here differs form the one on the front cover, he is wearing an old WWII style gasmask and cloak, but still brandishing the scythe.

The raytracing in 2077 is incredible. I spent a good 10 minutes just staring inton a PUDDLE when I first tried it, looking at the reflected lights and buildings around it, the transluscency of the water, freaking amazing. We're starting to see it used in more games now.
zaranyzerak.bsky.social
Wow, that's nuts. I remember the video not long ago from that MP begging everyone not to use one of those "Evil" VPNs. Uh-huh. My response is to use one even harder. Fuck that 1984 shit.
