I miss when Twitter was truly great like the time a guy got upset at someone calling out a cricket team and started explaining how bowling worked and at the end OP was like "thanks for explaining btw I hold the world record for most career outs in cricket history"

AI isn't missing emotional intelligence, it's ignoring it. What it's missing is the linguistic structure of natural speech because when you think about it, our languages carry all the context and emotion we need to figure stuff out and make decisions. It's also missing body clues.

I realize I'm talking to no one, but I think I can modify the Attention mechanism equation in transformers to include emotional congruence. Emotional encoding as a vector, not another term and it's another dimension of the "value" in the equation.

3 years ago, I could perform a very basic search in any engine and get an absurd number of relevant links, research articles, etc.
Today, I can perform the same search and find absolutely nothing.
