Texas has 38 congressional districts and one senate seat up for re-election. This info-graphic shows the information for the first 20 Texas Seats. Out of these 20 seats, there are 4 candidates I, Secular Lefty identify as being worthy of our support. They are:
TX-05 | Chelsey Hockett
TX-06 | Danny Minton
TX-13 | Mark Nair - Running Unopposed in the Primary [U]
TX-18 | Christian Menefee
All of these candidates support to some degree a single-payer health insurance program, raising the minimum wage, ending US support to Israel for their genocide of Palestinians, abolishing ICE, impeaching the Trump administration, & other various progressive policies.
Some of these candidates have been endorsed by the organizations listed at the bottom: Track AIPAC, Our Revolution, Justice Democrats, Citizen's Impeachment, No Dem Left Behind, & Leaders We Deserve. These 6 organizations have helped me identify candidates worthy of a spotlight & support.
