Are a separate kind of transition, triggered via overlap, not a sphere trace and button event. So it's awesome to think about that. Then I can expand into inventory items. Picking up items and inventory is a sphere trace of a different kind altogether. But once I understand these basics... yeah...
I need separate interaction functionality for each object type and area transition. For example, opening a door doesn't move in real time, but loads a different map. Then I have to be able to come back at the right spot and not at the general player start. But also open area transitions...
After two very hard months personally, I'm back to actively developing mechanics for my game. It turns out that it is going to be a bit like Might and Magic 6-8, so I'm adding transitions for areas. It's just the depth of blueprints I've never done before, so it's exciting as I need various options.
I don't even own a PS4/5 but I adore the fact that you care so much about your franchises and, more importantly, your fans. 6 bucks is a steal for any of these games, no matter how "old" they are. Thanks y'all.
Just an FYI as I start to ramp up production on my games and other projects. There will be no AI Art in my projects from any service like Dall-E or whatever.
This year has been rough. And losing TikTok, Instagram and Facebook isn't going to be easy. But it's necessary.

Working on a #talosprinciple inspired hub level for the #kitbash3d contest. Still needs much work, but finally getting #unrealengine to play nice with the shadows means I can focus on blocking out more level and less on tweaking settings eternally.

If I wanted to build a #UE5 outdoor map on the style of, say, the Desert Colossus area from Zelda OOT, would I be okay to use a single mesh for the "walls", or should I use a bunch of smaller stones? I love the look of the rock wall but don't understand enough yet.

Thinking of playing through all the 3D Zelda games. I've only ever completed OOT, then skipped to BOTW. I've played some of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, but never past maybe the first bosses. Any suggestions on where to start with Majora's Mask? Will be playing with 2S2H.
