I'm begging any artists still using Twitter claiming it's integral to their work to just leave. It's been revealed the site works off a made up "credit score" from hell and punishes you for posting like a normal human being.

Abandon Twitter for good. It's time. It's been time.

Guys, do not use the Discord Checkpoint thing (Discord's attempt at Spotify Wrapped).

It requires enabling them access to scrape your data, and has an alarming amount of private data being used for it.

Make sure you have these disabled.

Considering how many people they let go from their narrative team at one point when the PvP stuff failed to come together, then hearing this on top of the game being in the best state its ever been right now... I think it warrants a "we are so back".
Blizzard signal long-term plans for #Overwatch2 🧡

A new job listing seeks a Creative Director to develop the narrative roadmap for "the next decade of Overwatch", expanding across "games, cinematics, publishing, and transmedia".

i used spotify once like a decade ago when it was the only way to listen to some of the music jon bois used in his videos, and even then it was "wait, i can't even set it to repeat one track without it constantly trying to shift me to another song?"

anyway, get a local music collection

Crucial is shutting down — because Micron wants to sell its RAM and SSDs to AI companies instead. It’s already getting hard to build an affordable PC, and the exit of the longstanding provider of consumer memory is going to make that even more challenging www.theverge.com/news/837594/...

That moment when you finish drying off after a shower and ask yourself what exactly that new shampoo smells like, then you discover you showered using dog shampoo that was placed exactly where your shampoo is normally.

...Yep, it's that kind of night.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't remember this part of The Matrix. What an idiot.

The fact that there are still things like this to find in these games after so many people have dug deep into them is crazy.

Picking this up right away.
No Players Online - the full version of the viral abandoned online FPS horror game - is back on Steam. 🎉

The game was falsely removed weeks ago, just after launching, which has severely impacted the studio's survivability.

Please spread the word, and support it! ❤️

The really shitty thing about Twitter changing its name to X that no one talks about is if you aren't interested in hearing anything about it, you can't mute/block people talking about it without potentially blocking all sorts of other stuff. Ugh.

Winboat is a neat little program for running Windows through Docker on your Linux machine. You can run the full desktop through RDP or you can just run a specific application fully integrated on your Linux machine like a native app. Nice trick.

This is one of the most powerful and amazing features of NixOS. It always amazed me how much could be done from just writing a few lines of text and this is a great example of that.
One of my favorite #NixOS features: add 4 lines to config, block all adware, fake news, and adult content sites system-wide.

> DNS-level blocking without installing anything

Because I wanna see Ivan Ivan in New York, New York.
