For those of you that don't pay attention to sports at all, sports betting is ruining a lot more than just the broadcasts. Players are receiving death threats in DMs because of idiots out there losing on their incredibly dumb bets.
The speed with which sports betting is ruining sports is alarming.

You wanna know why we're having nag line discourse in 2025? Because developers know we're fighting an attention economy war we'll lose no matter what. Players don't read, have TikTok open next to them, god forbid we are scared you miss something and then blame us for not giving you all the info.

By the way, while the Jaguar controller wasn't great by any means, I will forever have a soft spot for it because of the Jaguar version of DOOM being the first decent console port but also because being able to directly pick your weapon at any point - while awkward - was awesome.

My feed today is filled with people posting the same comparison between the new Steam Controller and the Atari Jaguar controller and it's the single biggest tell that not a single one of them has *ever* held a Jaguar controller in their lives.
