I'm glad to say that I'm getting some big help in language creation from a few friends! I hope to really flesh out this #scifi #worldbuilding project for my #originalspecies and #conlang s.

"K'beck Language Chart" in bold, then in Romanised text "Otaj Kakaychun, Old Kakay Speak" and then a diagram of the language tree, separating into four branches marked by flags from each region; Grodun, Kakayndin, Aylandin, and Mythranden. Finally, two to three more branches from each flag, numbered from one to ten.

While defending the luddite argument in Discord, I stumbled into this IMO succinct explanation for opposing generative AI:

At every step in the process, it impoverishes us.

AI impoverishes us at every step of the process:
- data centers pollute our environment
- energy use drives up costs
- content theft robs creators of income
- the actual output is used to displace workers and depress wages
- using it harms our mental health and impairs our competence
- the flood of AI slop is damaging our sociopolitical landscape

All in service of making a worse product - and world - to enrich a handful of already spectacularly wealthy people

Commissions back on!!

So (as far as I know) PayPal changed how their apps work, I figured out the issue on my PC, the phone app didn't allow any options to convert currency, and because my bank doesn't support multiple currencies (as far as I know), I had to convert before transferring.

I wasn't advised beforehand to remove bank accounts or cards because of their change in support of banks.

So unless I need to open an account in 'certain banks and card issuers that are supported' (incredibly vague) I can't use PayPal for work 2/2
