As much as I'm enjoying the game, I'm not sure all the QOL changes were such a good idea. Having all the Digimon and digivolution options available in the menu makes it so that the DigiFarm doesn't really fit into the gameplay loop anymore, and it feels like more of an afterthought now.

Oh, you also don't automatically lose when your opponent reaches the end. You have to sit there and do the whole three laps, even if you already lost. Cool. Great game design here.

It's especially frustrating because I keep fucking up in the very first obstacle (it's placed right after you make a turn, and the minigame doesn't let you turn the camera so you need to have it memorized), and then I have to wait the whole fucking race to try again.

I'm doing the second race rn and this is so bad. Every attempt feels like a whole ass year, you can't just restart when you fuck up AND you have to pay 5,000 yen for every attempt so you can't just give up and let the race end by itself if you made a mistake.

The minigames in the Outer Dungeons were fun for like. Two seconds. Then you realize there are items locked behind perfect runs and you can't even give up or restart the game at any point, and it fuckings sucks. Also, the race minigame has the worst camera possible.
