I have to imagine anyone here who sees me and remembers me from the dead bird site is like, "Oh yeah, it's that guy who's a cat and likes the spaceship game."
I am a translator, but I don't work in games. I have, however, been playing games for the overwhelming majority of my life. This piece is ABSOLUTELY worth reading.
I wrote more words about how it feels to be a translator watching the games press report on AI and labor, coming from a field that's fought these battles for decades. It may look like I'm beating up on one outlet, but it's not about them; I've been trying to write this for me and my peers all year.

I have to say, The Irregular at Magic High School is the worst anime I've seen (might've forgotten worse). It's so bad it's embarrassing.
