I fought hard against Brexit. Dazed that Americans could vote for a criminal.

I have set up a trans support group in my local area.

I live just outside Chepstow. I originate from the Wirral.
Something about the Israeli popular vote feels wrong.

I was afraid to go to the Newport County/Tranmere match tomorrow. The Welsh club issued this statement:

“Please reassure Zoe that the stewards will be made aware at our briefing, and any search will be by an appropriate gender. Our gender neutral toilet is available.”

I am grateful to the club

There was a big turnout at the trans rally in Bristol this afternoon.

A few years ago I willingly shed my white male privileges to be the woman I always was. In doing so society regarded me as a second class citizen. Now the state has stripped me of those rights and I have become a third class citizen with few human rights. Life can be cruel.

If what happened today hadn’t happened, then it soon would. Trump and Putin will cook up a deal Ukraine will rightly reject, and then Trump would have had a hissy fit.

Trump is a destroyer. Building relationships can take years, building trading relationships is painstaking and building businesses can take decades. Institutions can take centuries to build. Destroying these things can easily be done in days and that is what we are witnessing. Any fool can do it.

Can anything of NATO be salvaged or is the USA now Russia’s ally not Europe’s? All my life I have regarded the USA as our trusted friend, a closeness that my years living in America seemed to confirm. I have a profound feeling of betrayal.

The YouGov poll this week on U.K. public attitudes on transgender rights is very frightening. For now at least it seems the gender criticals and the far right are winning the case for our elimination. They are enabled by almost all mainstream media. This Labour government is cravenly following.

If Ukraine is forced to surrender its sovereign territory to Russia, it will be the greatest betrayal of a European ally since Poland in 1945.

The UK must lead in Europe in defence of Ukraine. We cannot stand back and watch as Zelensky is bullied by Trump.

It makes me queasy to see this Labour Government throw chunks of red meat to the right wing voters on immigrants and transgender rights. No amount of cruelty will be enough for them. It won’t work and besmirches Labour’s reputation.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we must announce the unexpected closure of TogetherWORKS Caldicot on 31st March due to budget cuts. This is not a statement we imagined having to make, and we are all still in shock.

The fragility of American democracy appears to be exposed and exploited by an evil man. Can their legal and political system apply any brakes or are we witnessing the end of the USA as a free country?

Start supporting Newcastle?

My BlueSky feed is full of Newcastle United fans. I have no affiliation with this club. Tranmere are my team. It’s sending me crackers. What can I do about it?

This article by me on how terribly Labour is letting down the trans community is published today.
Why the transgender community was wrong to trust Labour
We may have hoped a Labour government would be an ally to trans people, but the evidence points elsewhere

I can confirm that the WiFi on the tube is now good enough for people to conduct video calls while underground and it is awful.

Today is International Trans Day of Remembrance. This is the toughest time in history to be trans and visible in the world, thanks to certain politicians, billionaires, trash media and Evangelicals. And it’s particularly tough for children and teens. Now, more than ever, we need our allies. Ty ❤️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
