We played Torchlit #boardgames from @allplay.bsky.social, which I really enjoyed. Interesting trick-taking spin and I love the theme. Art didn't click w/ non-D&D wife; two players thought trick-taker should lead; one player turned out to not like trick-takers at all. But it's 🎯 for me!

The #Spurs are a middle of the table club. They'll finish 10th - 12th. This is not a TEAM. They don't execute well together. There are bright spots but we just don't have our shit together. 😩😡🥶

Some of the games played during PAX Unplugged weekend. The highlight: teaching Smartphone Inc to 3 new players. Instabuy for one of them, which always makes me happy. Wasn't really a low point, though the 6 hour first play of Voidfall didn't produce enough juice for the squeeze. #boardgames See ALT

There were cops there helping ICE apparently. Though I agree with you. Being undocumented is a CIVIL offense not criminal. These aggressive take downs shouldn't be necessary. Worse, it makes no sense economically or morally.

I hope I don't jinx it but I am having a great #PAXUnplugged morning. Got up on time, made it 45 minutes into the Philly zigzagging through traffic, hit the parking garage on time. About to get in line and looking forward to the exhibit hall.

Played our 1st game of Praga Capvt Regni by Vladimir Suchy. It's a medium-heavy w/ a lot of mechanics you want to synergize (combo-tastic). Love the action selection wheel. Build upgrades, wall tiles, city tiles. Get eggs. Go up 6 different tracks. 8/10 - looking forward to next play. #boardgames

Played Dice Hospital, a light-med #boardgames that was surprisingly more fun than expected. You're drafting dice to manipulate their value to 7+ using hospital rooms and specialists that change the number in different ways. Fun theme, lots of add-on modules, and puzzly enough to not be boring.
