I've seen this in theatres many times. I think the last one was fairly local and hubby dropped me off. Neither of us knew that the High Street had been pedestrianised since we were last there. I had to walk through the Saturday afternoon market wearing a red basque, black knickers and stockings... 🤣

And we're still vacuuming up wasps from around the house. We use a bug vacuum, so they aren't hurt, but so far they've been found in the attic, the bedroom, the kitchen, the front room and the bathroom. This is not good with 12 cats in the house ☹️

Well... that went about as badly as it could have done. Our normal vet came out earlier than expected for Madison llama, but it meant the pet cremation company couldn't arrive at the same time. Never mind.
It took longer because he used a sedative first, but that part was pretty stress free...

I will share one image tonight. Taken on a street photography outing in London many years ago. I had left our two llamas at home in the middle of the countryside, but found this one on the Millennium Bridge. Hint - it was taken from underneath, looking up 😉

Our vet came out today to take some of Madison llama's blood for testing. Even walking him slowly up half the field had his sides heaving. Sadly, any results will come too late as he's once again refused his hard feed and isn't touching any hay. We've made an appointment to have him PTS tomorrow 🦙 😭

The lighting is the worst. In theory, you hold metallic paper to one side and bounce a flash off that to reflect in the water, but for hundreds of shots, it simply doesn't work #photography #macro

I don't know why I ever got into these. Each session could take anything up to four hours or more. Just getting the dandelion seed to stand upright is tough, but the water droplet has to be carefully placed with a syringe and ultra-fine needle #photography #macro

I need a break. We had Rodney (goat) PTS on Monday and now it looks as if Madison (llama) is heading the same way. We think he got Bluetongue in May 2024. You aren't allowed to vaccinate without DEFRA approval, which we didn't get until mid-September. He was left with severe breathing problems...

5.45 and Bubu first went in the kitchen demanding chicken breast from his Dad. Next, he wanted to be let into the study with me so he can watch Cat TV on his tablet. He's currently on my teddy bear cabinet, glued to the screen. We have to limit him to evenings only, as he is getting rather obsessed
