At a press conference announcing the city’s new Director of Re-entry and it is the best press conference I’ve ever been to. Everyone is cracking jokes, the mayor got emotional, and everyone is here to support a good cause. Such a great way to start the work day.

I was sent out to cover a fire that spread to 3 residential buildings last night in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago. Thankfully, nobody was injured.

When the @chicago.suntimes.com sent me on assignment to Sushi-san, I decided to challenge myself and try to make my shots look more like product photography. I looked up some references and, overall, I feel like I did a pretty ok job.
