After half a year of this video baking, I've been ITCHING to talk about this grand project. So here, a 🧵 on the creative decisions made for the mountain sections of Run n Bun! (maybe a process one after? 🤷‍♂️)

Got this awesome commission done of Bradsn by @mangohusein.bsky.social ! I felt it only best to bring him to Ala Mhigo with the render, next step is hanging it on my wall 🙌

I’m getting more used to blender and got to practice doing trimsheets, lighting, and composition (it might’ve all been at 3am in a sleepless fury)

Recreating the HD2D style is real fun! Need to work more on the compositing but it’s a real win to feel comfortable w/ the workflow

I started playing TFT for the first time about 3 weeks ago, with the goal to see if I could push myself to learn a new kind of game. I'm really happy that after a lot of grinding, I just hit Gold 4 within my first month!

Being 30 now is looking at calculators that say even in 15 years I could never afford a house and wondering how I'll decorate my apartment when I'm 80

These were all menus from history with amazing art lost to time! The Roosevelt is also where the Ramos Gin Fizz was made, a story I love to tell people about and now I can show them the literal menu!

I’m gonna try and actually be active here, but besides hobbies and such, I wonder if people would actually like to see thumbnail breakdowns?

Not the pretentious “here’s how you get a billion views! 🤓” cause that’s just not true, but at least show practices that make thumbs work and help? 🤷‍♂️
