I think after all this dieting and intermittent fasting I've been doing, my insulin has gotten better? recently I've been able to have some actual-sugar sweets without any reactive hypoglycemia. I think I'm improving!!! let's reverse this prediabetes!!!!

I once went to a multi-course hotpot place where one of the courses was to boil a living giant shrimp yourself. absolutely could not do it 😭

lately just been comparing things to silksong's price point. one kpop demon hunter skin is only roughly $2 less than silksong.

both the English and Japanese are good. I actually felt like the English VAs had far stronger emotion in dramatic beats where characters are shouting and screaming. Japanese worked better in regular speech as the English script was sometimes awkward due to needing to match lip flaps

sometimes my grandfather visits me in my dreams, which he did just now. I asked him, hey, the New Year is coming up and I wanna impress people by singing a kwv txhiaj, but I'm not good enough at writing Hmong to be poetic

had to ask my local Gen Alpha what was up with 67 being the new 69 as a funny number. I still don't fully get its appeal as a funny number, but I know the origin now

also it's not as cool as 69, it's very nonsensical

Panel 2- The same child, now a teenager, is being told, "You'll change your mind when you're older." To which the teen responds, "I doubt that"

Panel 3- Now an adult, someone off screen asks them, "Aren't you thinking of having kids?" To which they respond, "Nope"

Panel 4- The same person, an older adult now, is being told, "better have kids soon, or it'll be too late!" to which they respond, "That's fine"

Panel 5- Now elderly, they are once again asked "Don't you feel like you missed out?" to which they say, "Still nope."

Panel 6- They are now in their death bed, clearly close to death. The nurse says, "Shame you didn't have kids, don't you regret it?" To which the person says "You know what just kill me already"

Dance party protests might be one of the best moves right now.

These make fascists look ridiculous, counter the "Portland is dangerous" narrative, and showcase joy and community at a time when those things are in short supply. Keep it up.
