Thanks for the great compilation. Our new @empoci.bsky.social policy brief shares insights into how such phase-out targets influence corporate decision making in the automotive industry: it shows how these targets actually help in the global innovation race: www.sussex.ac.uk/webteam/gate...
Consistent phase-out policies actually help European carmakers, according to our new policy brief! πŸ“š

It argues that while the transition to electric vehicles is disruptive, it is also inevitable. In the long run, delays will only hurt the European automotive industry.

What are the most frequented flight routes in Europe?

A whopping 43 flights between London and Amsterdam departed every day last year, making it the second-busiest route in Europe despite a direct 4-hour train alternative.

It’s time to rethink how we travel in Europe.

Despite many negative headlines, the global EV sales grew by around a third last year. The IEA expects electric sales to increase by more than a fifth in 2024.

In Europe, T&E expects EV sales to resume growth - as carmakers race to meet EU CO2 targetsΒ next year - reaching 24% market share in 2025.
