6 December 1942 | Grigol Peradze, a cleric of the Georgian Orthodox Church, an archimandrite, perished in #Auschwitz.

Since 1933, he lectured at the College of Orthodox Theology at Warsaw University. The Germans arrested him on 5 May 1942, and, in November, deported him to Auschwitz.

5 December 1901 | Jewish man, Félix Abécassis, was born in Oran (Algeria). He came to Paris in 1920. An English-French translator.

In Auschwitz from 12 February 1944.

He was later transferred to Buchenwald, where he died of pneumonia on 23 February 1945.

On this day in 1927, a Czech Jewish boy was born. On the 17 Dec 1941 he was deported to Theresienstadt with his parents and on the 15 Jan 1942 to the Riga Ghetto. They perished in the Shoah. His name was Kurt Meller

On this day in 1944, a 49 year old Dutch Jewish man arrived at Bergen-Belsen where he perished. His wife perished in the camp 20 Mar 1945. Their two children survived the Shoah. His name was Martin Emil Levenbach

What I see is frantic medical & public relations work going on behind the scenes. They’re working feverishly to make it look like nothing’s wrong. But I believe there’s a desperate effort to slow down the pace of the dementia his father died from. He may not be able to function by the midterms
