I wrote this on depression
Maybe it's important to read
Or to share so that someone else who needs to read it might do so.
To let them know they are not alone

Me and my Darkness friend.
We need to keep talking about depression in society.

Why is the church hurting moral injury in the church. Rhona Knight orange grove books ethics cover

And that there's no talk of cptsd in the book...(I know there's alot of types trauma) I wanted more from the book on this.....and wonder what I might add/contribute on this..yet...I still loved the book....(Thank you Karen...keep going on all this..you are a gift to the church)

And it's taken me a few days to work out why....I think that the language offered felt more like a 'Traumatic event' and remaking after such a moment ...rather than someone (like me) who was born into abuse and so there isn't a 're making' .. as there's no 'before trauma' that I have..

It also made me angry too.....but I think that's a good response too...

Tell me a church policy/plan/strategy that does talk about outcomes impact and not just outputs.
What difference does a church ever want to make?

@cumbriawildlife.bsky.social just wondering if this is something you'd be interested in, just think I've seen a mink on the river Kent near to lound road in Kendal, it was definitely too small to be an otter ... Are there mink traps around or schemes to restrict them?

It should not be lost on anyone that Minnesota Rep Melissa Hortman, who was shot to death in her home last night by an assassin, was a gun safety advocate who worked tirelessly to protect her constituents from gun violence.
