Recently I learned that civil servants have the First Amendment-protected right to speak out on matters of public concern.

Thurgood Marshall, in an 8-1 SCOTUS decision, noted that government employees know how the gov’t works, and the public has a special interest in hearing from them.

The capitulation of officials at Texas A&M to these tactics are shameful and dangerous.

A professor at Texas A&M taught… something related to gender that offended a student, who secretly filmed herself objecting. That video is picked up by TX legislators, who demand her firing, and now the dean and dept head have been fired.

We have heard from multiple sources that RIFs of the remaining coms and policy staff will be taking place, although nothing is set in stone till it happens. Please spread the word and contact your legislators ! These 53 people are doing extremely important work. Let’s try to keep it that way!
