Same, or at least I hope. The first few days of vacation (aside from Christmas) have involved a lot of napping. There are things that need doing around the house, but... resting is my priority right now.

100%. And those groups will mostly likely be hit harder by climate change, as they are by "everyday" pollution, with heavier tolls on countries and populations in the global south. It's pretty rage-inducing when you consider how far colonization and capitalism have disrupted people and the planet.

Been thinking about this for years. A lot of climate authors (and progressives) have made the point that capitalism = climate destruction, and it has to be addressed at the ro(o)t. A move towards authoritarianism and fascism is a direct response to challenges to the fossil fuel status quo.
