I’m the same this year but I did have my 5yo grandson here on the farm all last week. I was exhausted but we had a great time and he loved being with the animals and he asked for a pet chook which I got him. He’ll be back early January for another week.

He has a Harley heritage soft tail and I have a Yamaha v star 650. I’m still only going down our quiet road but I’ll get there eventually. Never ever thought I’d be a bike rider. Lol

I’m heading off next week as a support vehicle for the long ride for prostate cancer. We are travelling from Gympie area to Esperance over 8 days. Partner is riding his Harley. I’ll tow gooseneck across the Nullarbor. Can’t wait.

Just heard last week from the family of a 101 yo keeping his motorcycle so he could go and look at it and reminisce in the garage. Came home one day and both were missing. Lucky it was a small town and he was safe.

Hi Caz I have been pretty busy and haven’t been on Bluesky much at all. I’ve been laid up with a cold and wanted to see some sanity in the crazy world so got back on today. I’m going well. Doing a trip across the nullabor to Esperance in a couple of weeks so trying to get that organised.

Yum. I had a home grown roast last night and it was delicious. Slow cooked for the day on low while I was at a course.

I’m glad everything is going well for you Caz I’ve been a bit absent from 🦋 lately due to being busy. Single neighboring farmer and I have been seeing each other and helping out at each others places. It’s been busy but good and dragged me back into being social again.

It’s horrible not being able to get cool at night. Fortunately even in my cabin in Qld I’ve had some decently cool nights with warm days. Not looking forward to the minuses in winter though.
