Communities rebuilding from the LA wildfires a chance to rebuild safer & cleaner—all-electric. But the @californiapuc.bsky.social is actively undermining that opportunity by allowing SoCalGas to use ratepayer funds to push gas. It's time to close this loophole.

🚨1/3 of leaking oil wells in CA get a free pass to keep polluting, all thanks to loopholes in state laws. Meanwhile..

⬇️ Gas demand is dropping
🔋 CA's clean energy jobs outnumber fossil fuel jobs 7:1

It’s time for a real, enforceable plan to move off toxic oil & protect our communities.

🚨 Just launched: the #MethaneRiskMap from PSEHealthyEnergy. Modeling over 1,300 methane emissions events, it shows that almost all of them released hazardous air pollutants like benzene, at levels that pose risks to public health.

California’s climate leadership is slipping. @cagovernornewsom.bsky.social is considering more oil drilling while backpedaling on climate laws.

We’re in a climate emergency. We need bold action — not loopholes, rollbacks, or excuses.

In a win for climate + CA communities, a judge ordered the Sable pipeline company to stop its work to revive a dangerous offshore drilling project, responsible for a huge 2015 oil spill near Santa Barbara.

People spoke out against Sable.
Courts acted.
But @cagov.bsky.social Newsom? Still silent.
