I've been on hiatus for a while now, but I am so excited about this delivery. We found this book at one of our local libraries (we rotate through at the moment), and I knew we needed it for our library. I also got each of the kids their own scientific notebook. I'll post updates from the farm soon.

All set up at The Renaissance Faire at Sleepy Hollow again.
I will be taking a year off of Renaissance Faires after this. Hopefully I will be back at Faires in the Fall of 2026.
I am still making soap and will be at a couple farmers markets and at EB at Merle Hay Mall.

Today was tattoo day! Everyone is green now. Jeff and I managed to stay clean this year. They also got their CD&T boosters and the boys got wethered.

After we dug through easter baskets we got peas and potatoes planted. It had already started to sprinkle as we started so they'll get a good watering in today! Also we are wet and cold now. Time for more coffee.

Here the pig pen! We don't have any farm equipment and our farm has previously been pretty neglected. So there's metal and stuff buried everywhere. So the plan is to let the pigs dig up the trash and go in and clean out once a week or so. The small area we did last year worked out great.

About 4 hours away from home and I got the message that Fire Opal had her kid. It was just the one chunky buck kid. His name is Ender Dragon and Max is already in talks with management about keeping him. We usually only keep girls......

Yesterday was a beautiful clear sunrise in the Appalachians. Straight into storms. We made it home with Herobrine, whi has taken (realatively) well to the bottle.

Yesterday, we drove down to Eastern Tennesse to pick up this guy! He is so sweet and his name is Herobrine. Now we're on our way back home.

These cuties showed up Wednesday afternoon!! Wither(has the white star) and Warden. Both are doelings out of Tiger's Eye. These girls are 75% Guernsey. 🧡

Dan and I totally miscommunicated on a trip we're taking to pick up a new buck. I told him it was a 12 hour drive. He thought I meant round trip........anyway, we're going for a quick trip to Tennessee on Friday! Be on the lookout out for pictures!

Poppy had her kids this morning! Meet Creeper(doeling), Blaze(buckling), Creaking(doeling). All are doing good and have had 16ish oz of colostrum.

Got the flooring all in a couple weeks ago. Jeff and Maggie have been working on getting the cupboards built. Then we will be ready for plumbers to come back and finish things up! Well and the electricia.

Here is the yearling line up! Everest has horns. Chase has little scurs. Skye is the unigoat! Marshall is the spotted boy, also horned. We just picked him up Saturday to breed the yearlings. He's a Nigerian Dwarf so his babies will be smaller for the first fresheners. Hoping for Oct/Nov kids.

Next was paint! This took me a whole week to do, but I did it. It doesn't matter how hard you fall or how slow you go after as long as you get up and keep pushing forward.

We did hire people to do drywall fall/winter 2024. Normally I would do drywall but I am still in recovery, I just don't have the stamina yet.
Also the electrical rough in and plumbing rough in got done in 2023. Forgot about those!

Sam (6 years) made this last weekend. He is our gourmet and we got him this cook book last year......we do not follow dates. If he wants to make it then we get the ingredients.
