Update on Grant Park Meeting: After doing some digging someone found a video on facebook from the "Grant Park Advisory Council" in June 2025 saying that the July 22nd meeting will be to consider alternatives based on previous public feedback.

I highly suggest if @democrats.org care about winning they start adopting language about material reality like FDR does in this quote. I too frequently see empty meaningless slogans. Knowing my elderly neighbors are going to be harmed pisses me off. If a dem cant relate to us they should step down.

Those bike lanes are def pretty radical shift imo! That's good, but the park space design seems weird to me. What's with all the zig zags and stuff? For example here's a Spanish soccer stadium. Props to them for thinking outside the box, though. Glad someone is.

Voters across the nation attribute socialist policies to trump and high grocery prices to Biden. One political "positive" we'll see in the next 4 years is everyone's taxes will go up because the 2017 tax 'cuts' will expire and people will be like 'wtf why am I paying more.'
